My name is Fred! Some call me Freddy, some call me Meatball. I am about 2 years old. I made my way to STL not long ago after being in an outdoor animal control, in Southern Missouri, for 11 months. I watched hundreds of dogs come and go. But, I always knew my turn would come because they said I was a good boy.

I am in foster care with a resident cat that is my best friend and a resident dog that is my friend, becoming better friends, every day. I love, love to go on walks, run in spurts and slide to made you laugh. I am sort of "aloof," as they say. But I was in a 6x6 so my concentration is on the big world around me. The cat is rubbing off on me because that's what I do to my foster parents; rub against them like the cat. I love being with my people. It's nice to have attention. I love staying occupied by chewing on bones and exploring the yard. I have been around young children that were very nice to me.

I am vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, crate trained, potty trained, 60#, and so, so, so ready for love. I have longed for a family. Is that you?
