My name is Boomer and I am here to win you over. Not only am I incredibly handsome and svelte, I am a, really, good dog.

I was found as a stray in St. James, Mo. My finder was kind and helpful to me. They found out I had heartworms and decided it was not something they could tackle. Plus, I didn't really live inside with them and I wanted to be, so badly.

Fast forward, I was being boarded at a vet's office and some rescue lady said "YES" to my arrival in their group. It has been so fun. My foster family takes me on adventures to teach me manners. I have learned several tricks and learned how to play gently with smaller dogs and kids. I like kids, especially when they play and run with me.

Overall I am a very happy guy. I am young and have a full life ahead of me. I have filled out nicely to an adult sized dog. I have all my vetting, microchipped, neutered and am in the final stages of heartworm treatment. Which, P.S., I took like a champ.

I am a well diverse dog in regards to activities. I am a family guy that would fit any active family style. I promise to love you FURever!
