Meet Mac! Mac is 4 years old. He is a handsome blonde colored lab. Weighing in at a big and healthy 76#, he's a handsome stoic looking dog.

What's so special about Mac? He is as smart as a whip. This dog learns quickly and can implement without incident. Mac knows Stay, come, sit, paw, down, over, sit pretty, up. Mac knows no, stop, easy. He is a joy to have as a walking/hiking/running companion. He is easy on the leash; does best with a harness. Mac can and will go for miles.

Mac is house trained. He is potty trained. He is crate trained.

Mac is good with other dogs. He enjoys having like friends. He is fostered with 2 females and does very, very well with them. He has met and played with male dogs and did well with them. His interaction is great and he learns from their social cues with respect. Interacting with other dogs has been important in integrating Mac and showing him a positive spin on life. 

Mac is good with children. The children that Mac has been around are quiet, very kind to animals, know how to do and what not to do when it comes to dogs in general. Mac is big and he gets excited. Little children may be knocked over until a new routine and structure is met. (6 year old boy, 4ft tall, 41# for reference of good size)

Mac needs a fenced yard, that ideally would have a fence taller than 4ft. This is for his safety and is a must.

Ideally, if you are approved for adoption, we ask for understanding that Mac has finally gained confidence in stability. His family decided he had no place with them after 3 years. 

If you have a lot of love to show this dog please send in your application. Patience is a virtue you must have and give to Mac. He's a really great dog! You will be lucky to have his love.
