They call me Billy the Kid

They call me Billy the Kid, but kid as in a goat, not the old west outlaw type! Can’t be twirling guns and slipping them back into a holster without thumbs! I do have my quirks though, so let’s run through my resume of traits and why they call me Billy Goat!

1. I’m am a working dog type and super fast, like catch me if you can, in the backyard, kind of fast! I need my person to be my go go with play, run, agility, stuff that’s fun and active.
2. I need another dog to have as a best friend. Period. Need.a.dog.
3. I will be ok with older, respectful kids, 16+, but little ones are probably not the best with my energy level.

4. As expected by my breed mix, I’m very smart, almost smarter than a fifth grader type of smart!  With this intelligence I bring the understanding of basic commands to the table.
5. I am crate trained and house broken… perfectly ready for your home!

6. I do need firm boundaries, this helps me to understand what the expectations of me are, and helps me to ease my anxiety because I’ll know exactly what you want.
7. I can get a little overwhelmed and show a tad bit of attitude, but it’s me throwing a tantrum really and when you tell me to knock it off and go to my crate I will do exactly that and take my time out.
8. I am good with cats and other dogs and I LOVE the dog park! Another dog in the home would be the best thing for me. An established dog that can help me learn boundaries.
9. I love playing with toys!

Now, the reason they call me Billy Goat is because I’ll eat just about whatever you show me.. toys, maybe the occasional grass outside, heck… throw me whatever treats you want and I won’t be picky! 

We can try goat yoga if you wanna show me how, I’m up to living up to my name in any way possible.
